Howland Hill Road & Stout Grove : Hours: All Hours - Exceptionally beautiful drive, which follows the historic stage coach route to Oregon, which leads you to an outstanding grove of old growth redwoods. There you will find the 340 foot Stout Tree, one of the tallest in the park.
Battery Point Lighthouse : Foot of A Street - Crescent City, CA 95531 - (707) 464-3089 - Hours: Only at Low Tides 10am-4pm - Built in 1856, this historic lighthouse sits on a small island 100 feet off shore. It is accessible only by foot - and only at low tide. Guided tours available Wednesday-Sunday, April-September.
